Love at first… sound? Jump Little Children immediately made it to the top of my list when I heard them for the first time. Their poetic lyrics and dynamic sounds captured me right from the start. Vertigo, Angel Dust, Too High, Words of Wisdom, and Made It Fine made me get up and dance (literally). Others like Pigeon could put me to sleep (in a good way) because they are so relaxing. This group has a way of putting a person in a different world and then giving them no desire to want back out. The lyrics, the vocals, and the sound dynamics throughout this album take you through a maze, and beyond each corner is something unexpected. The reflection of songs is seen all through the tracks yet each song is distinctively unique. All the characteristics of the music really get the music loving part of me going. (Not that I claim to know a lot about the whole world of music. But, HEY I know what I like). The vocals of JC keep me enchanted the whole 62:09 of my listening pleasure. The music is just as enthralling. Everything comes together and produces a complimentary sound within itself. Out of all the songs (and they are all great in one aspect or another), my favorite song is Vertigo. Did you know that the definition of vertigo (according to www.dictionary.com) is “a feeling about to fall”? When I figured that out the lyrics came to life. Other songs that are up there on my list are Angel Dust, Too High, Hold Your Tongue… ya know I might as well just list them all, because honestly, I love the whole cd with a passion! Overall the album
